STG Lacrosse is an Youth Lacrosse League in St George, UT.   As a Sactioned a USA Lacrosse League youth (boys and girls) ages 6 to 18 years old play lacrosse on school based teams.

Practices will begin Feb 26th  and end May 12, 2024.  We close registration is allowed until April 1, 2024.   We welcome late signups and to join us.

Cost is $85 per child for 6-8 years old  (K-2nd)

Cost is $145 per child for  10u, 12u, 14u & 18u  Division (3rd-4th)(5th&6th) (Middle School) (High School). 

Every player must also purchase an USA Lacrosse Membership for $30. (serves as insurance)  This membership is good for 365 days

Equipment

Every Player is required to have a helmet, chest pad (EKG approved), elbow pads, padded gloves and stick.  These items are available to rent for $85 for Spring Season (Rentals may be limited to the first 120 kids).  We encourage purchasing a good stick ($85 and above) that has good good mesh pocket to hold the ball. We also offer selling our equipment see Doug for details (Typically runs $150 for helmet and pads, gloves.)  A mouth piece is required also (available at a sporting good store near you).

How teams are organized?

Teams are organized by the high school boundaries of were the player resides.  In some cases were no current team is organized for the school boundaries the player will be assigned the nearest team.  Starting in the Spring 2024 we now offer Iron County Schools (Cedar & Canyon View) the opportunity to join STG Lacrosse.  

What do the players receive?

Each player will receive:

-Reversible sublimated Pinnie

-Team T-shirt

-Team Uniform (Reversible Top and Shorts)  

Two practices a week minimum. With 1 game per week. Eight game season.  

We hope your child will more importantly learn confidence, discipline, teamwork, and have fun playing in the STG Lacrosse League. (Intangible Assets)

Volunteers and Coaches

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!     STG Lacrosse is a non-profit directed by dedicated volunteers.  We are willing to train, assist, and support those willing volunteers.  With a lacrosse league being new to St George we need Coaches.   Coaching Youth Lacrosse has some very fundamental skills and concepts.  STG Lacrosse will pay the USA Lacrosse Membership of any coach (background check).  All coaches and players must have an active USA Lacrosse Membership.

 We are always looking for assistance with setup, cleanup, and scores table on gameday.
